Mission

Changing the Game, and the Definition

Look up the definition of Mural Ride and it will say: A San Antonio bike tour company that rides through Downtown San Antonio with an amazing host who will show you the best San Antonio street art. Well, maybe it won’t say that, but I am working with Webster’s to make it happen.

Meet our Guides

Brian Gregory

Brian Gregory

The founder of San Antonio Mural Rides. Brian has spent most of his life in San Antonio. Over the past 5 years he recognized the growing number of cyclist commuting in the Downtown area and decided he wanted to be apart of the movement. After driving back and forth month after month he decided to move downtown and buy a bike that is somewhat recognizable. Now Brian is very much apart of the cycling scene. You can spot him and his bike on Tuesday nights riding with the SATXSocial Ride or just riding around on any other nights look for the next mural.

Erika

Erika

Although not born in Texas, she got here as fast as she could. Born in Mexico City, Erika rides to escape the reins of her day-time cubicle world. Most nights and weekends you can find her on her bike enjoying the downtown life. A self proclaimed foodie, Erika is quick to let you know the best dishes in most restaurants! Oh, and by the way, she is bilingual.

Aaron

Aaron

Meet Aaron, our energetic and enthusiastic guide at San Antonio Mural Ride Bike Tours. With a deep love for San Antonio and a passion for exploring the city on two wheels, Aaron has become an integral part of our team. Inspired by the vibrant murals and the growing cycling community in downtown San Antonio, he joined forces with his close friend Brian to share his love for the city with others.

Raised with a focus on an active lifestyle, Aaron found biking to be the perfect combination of fun and fitness. Since his teenage years, he has been captivated by the allure of murals, often taking pictures of his bike in front of them. This passion naturally led him to join our mural rides, where he discovered the joy of sharing these experiences with others.

When Aaron isn’t leading tours, you can often find him pedaling through the streets of San Antonio, whether it’s riding with the SATXSocial Ride on Tuesday nights or exploring the city’s hidden gems. As a true foodie, Aaron is also quick to recommend the best dishes in local restaurants, ensuring that participants not only enjoy the murals but also savor the flavors of San Antonio.

Aaron’s tours are filled with laughter, storytelling, and unexpected moments. One memorable adventure involved a mischievous homeless man attempting to steal one of our tour bikes, adding an unexpected twist to the ride. Through it all, Aaron’s energy and enthusiasm shine, creating a dynamic and entertaining experience for all.

Join Aaron on a San Antonio Mural Ride and let his infectious enthusiasm and deep knowledge of the city’s murals and culture transport you to a world of art, history, and vibrant community.

Story

Where the Adventure Begins

What started off as a few friends riding around downtown San Antonio admiring local murals and street art, evolved to a monthly mural rides bike tour. Brian's eye to spot obscure guerrilla street art was fine tuned with each ride, so much so that he was able to personally contact local artists and get the inside track on new art installations.

The mural pictured above is about 2-3 inches in height. In 2014 when this piece of street are was unveiled most onlookers missed it.
