About
Redefining What a Bike Tour Can Be
If Webster’s Dictionary ever adds "Mural Ride," it’ll probably say: A wildly fun, locally led bike tour that showcases San Antonio's street art, celebrates its culture, and connects people to the soul of the city.
That’s the mission — to change the way people experience San Antonio. We don’t just roll past murals; we tell the stories behind the walls, highlight the artists who painted them, and show you the neighborhoods where art, culture, and history collide.
We believe that bikes make cities better, art makes people feel something, and the best tours make you feel like you’re hanging out with an old friend — not sitting through a lecture.
We’re here to shift what tourism looks like in San Antonio: more local voices, more color, and way more fun.
Meet our Guides
Brian Gregory Brian Gregory
Founder of Mural Ride | Local Guide | Street Art Aficionado
Brian Gregory is the founder of Mural Ride — San Antonio’s original street art bike tour. Born and raised in the Alamo City, he created this experience to connect people with the murals, neighborhoods, and voices that make San Antonio one of the most vibrant cities in Texas.
As a longtime cyclist and advocate for better biking in San Antonio, Brian blends storytelling, history, and humor into every ride. When he’s not leading tours, you’ll likely find him exploring the city on his e-bike — hunting for new murals, checking out taco joints, and trying the latest coffee shops, bars, and hidden gems.
With deep roots in downtown and a passion for local art, Brian’s tours go beyond sightseeing — they offer an unforgettable, insider’s look at the culture, creativity, and spirit of the city.

Aaron
Guide | Storyteller | Local Mural Addict
Aaron is all about two things: bikes and murals. Raised in San Antonio with an eye for street art, he’s been snapping photos of his rides in front of local walls since he was a teen. Today, he shares that same passion with every guest who joins a Mural Ride.
As a longtime friend of founder Brian, Aaron brings contagious energy, great stories, and plenty of laughs to each tour. You’ll find him pedaling through downtown with the SATX Social Ride or pointing out his favorite hidden gems around the city.
A proud local foodie, Aaron’s the guy to ask for post-ride eats — whether you're craving tacos, barbecue, or something off the beaten path.
Ride with Aaron and expect fun vibes, colorful walls, and a few unexpected stories along the way.
Where the Adventure Begins
Mural Ride started the way most good things do — with a few friends, some bikes, and a deep love for the city. What began as casual cruises through downtown San Antonio to admire local murals soon turned into something more.
Brian’s knack for spotting hidden street art — even tiny, two-inch guerrilla pieces most people missed — evolved into a mission: showcase the art, the artists, and the neighborhoods shaping San Antonio’s creative identity.
As the rides grew, so did the connections. Brian began building relationships with local muralists, getting the inside scoop on new pieces, and weaving their stories into every tour.
Today, Mural Ride is more than a bike tour — it’s a movement powered by community, culture, and the belief that the best way to experience San Antonio is on two wheels, one mural at a time.
