Top Coffee Recommendations in Downtown San Antonio

“Where can we get coffee?”

Not that we are counting, but this has to be one of the most frequently asked questions we get. Our guests typically stay within a few miles of our meeting spot, so there is a really good chance that one of these coffee shops is nearby. This is a very authentic list of local coffee shops that if you mention that the Mural Ride sent you, we are sure you’ll get a free high five! Below you’ll find their address and their Instagram information. (High Fives are not guaranteed.)

@milacoffeesa – If you’re meeting us at the Pearl this is our go to recommendation. Located on Broadway they serve up a tasty cup of Joe. 2202 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78215

@dulcesuenos_coffee – You’ll be able to find this coffee truck in The Rose Bush co-op courtyard. Our favorite drink is the Toasted Coconuts! It’s the perfect combination of coffee and coconut. 2301 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio, TX 78212 –

@localcoffeefounders – Located in the Pearl. This is typically our suggestion to our guests who are coming from out of town and are staying at the Hotel Emma. 302 Pearl Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78215

@drinkeclipsesa – If you love talking about coffee you have to stop here. It’s inside @littledeathwine which is one of our mural stops. 2327 N St Mary’s St, San Antonio, TX 78212 –

@gravvescoffee – Not only is their Instagram page beautiful, but their cold brew elixir coffee is amazing. Try the green one! 2410 N St Mary’s St, San Antonio, TX 78212gravves-coffee.business.site

@espadacoffee – We pass by here every time and after 5 years we finally stopped in. We were not let down. Additionally, they serve vegan breakfast tacos. They are parked right in front of @armadilloboulders in the pink truck. 1119 Camden St, San Antonio, TX 78215

@rosella_satx – This is the perfect spot for a weekday office day. They have coffee, food and wine. AMAZING! 203 E Jones Ave Suite UNIT 101, San Antonio, TX 78215rosellacoffee.com/

@laboulangeriesa – This French shop has coffee and our favorite pastries in the Downtown area. Try the croissants! 207 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78205laboulangeriesa.com/

Mural Ride Bike Tour – Weekday

The Southtown bike ride tour, also known as the Weekday Tour, is basically our weekend tour's more southern, slightly cooler cousin. Starting and ending at the historical King William District, we'll venture through the Riverwalk area where we'll witness some truly stunning murals at Travis Park Church. They're basically like eye candy for your bike ride. Then we'll check out Rudy Herrera's "Last Parade," which just so happens to be the tallest mural in the whole city. After we've craned our necks, we'll head over to Hemisphere Park, which once hosted the '68 World's Fair! Fun fact alert! At the end of the Southtown bike ride tour, we'll make our way back to where it all began - the King William District. This beautiful and historic neighborhood is known for its stunning Victorian architecture and was once the most affluent residential area in the city. And here's a fun fact: the district is named after King Wilhelm I of Prussia! After the tour, participants can explore the district and discover some great spots to grab a bite to eat or a drink. It's the perfect way to end a delightful day of cycling and sightseeing in the beautiful city of San Antonio.
